Seriously!

So I have this lotion and this is the caution on the back. "Use only as directed. Excessive use or prolonged exposure may cause irritation to skin." The directions say nothing about washing the lotion off after applying it. So... most likely you will have prolonged exposure. Don't think I'll be using this lotion. In the trash it goes. Plus, can you really trust a lotion that is blue?

This lotion was not purchased, nor is it sold anywhere. It is a promotional item from a drug company that is distributed to medical facilities. You think they would be a little more careful with the ingredients as to not cause irritation.

We were driving down the road and this little red VW Beetle caught our eye. Not because of the color, but because of the red person in the passengers side. Yes folks, this lady was driving down the road with a Spider Man dummy in her car. With a sun visor on to top things off. I would have loved to stop and ask this lady her reasoning for this.

Napping With The Dogs

If you're going to nap around our house, prepare to be overwhelmed with pugs. Nina, the black pug, must lay in the crook of my neck with her head on mine when I lay down to take a nap. Winston, the other black pug, is alway laying on my back. And Zoe, fawn pug on the arm rest of the couch, would prefer a pillow to lay on by my head... and the new one, Molly, is still looking for the perfect place to take a nap too. Seems all the good spots are taken.



Here's our boy Oliver again, rolled over onto his back. Believe it or not, he doesn't mind it a bit. Plus it's the only way to really get him clean underneath. The pugs however do not like getting baths as much as he does.

Let's Have A Spelling Bee

Okay people, today I am hosting a spelling bee for anyone who wants to play. The first word is "feather". Would you like the word in a sentence? Okay, birds of a feather flock together. Now spell feather...

Apparently these folks did not do well in their school's spelling bee. This is a form we have people fill out at the animal hospital when they bring their pet in for treatment. Over the years we have seen some funny things written on the forms.



I'll give them the benefit of the doubt with the word "boa". Not many people ever need to spell the word boa. Sad thing is, there were two people who brought this ferret in and neither one of them was able to spell feather boa. Looks like they also had problems with the word "swallowed" and were a little unsure about the word "none".

Today's You Won't Believe It Sighting

I know gas prices are getting up there, but this lady has found a way around that. A motorized Igloo cooler. With a back rest and foot rest. Even room enough for a small child. Wonder how often she needs to fill up? Do you need a license to drive this?

What Are People Thinking?

I was in line at Walmart today and this lady was in front of me. Notice she doesn't have any shoes on! You can't really see it that well but look closely, the bottom of her feet are black. Yeck! Who walks around in Walmart without any shoes on? Apparently this lady does.

Who Loves Pink?

I love pink just as much as the next preppy person... but this guy must really love pink! To make things worse he is wearing this jacket in Florida. Does it really ever get that cold here that you need a heavy duty pink jacket?!

Can you guess what this cup of goodness is? It is a fresh brewed cup of coffee given to MH while he was at some guys house going over health care coverage. Who in their right mind would drink this cup of grossness! Better yet, who in their right mind would make a cup of coffee like this and serve it!?? Clearly this guy is not in a good state of mind.

Pugs and Pacemakers

It's amazing what we can do for our pets now a days. The following story is about a pug with a failing heart. Dr. Spier (cardiologist at FVS) gave the owner two choices; take him home and let him live out the rest of his life, which might not be very long, or they could get a pacemaker put in him. They chose the pacemaker! Click here for the video clip of this story.

On another note of saving doggie lives. Oliver was not able to donate blood last Saturday. He has bad veins! Not a real big shocker for Bulldogs though. They are well known to have the worst veins to get blood or start an IV on. It was a good effort on his part though.

On a funny note, take a good look at this guy. Notice anything particularly odd? He's wearing ski goggles!! Are there really that many bugs in Florida that he needs ski goggles to ride with the top down?
